Mimi’s Snickerdoodle Cookies
One thing we always enjoy as a family is baking and enjoying family recipes, just like Mimi’s Snickerdoodle Cookies! Growing up I always loved coming home after a long day at school to my mom pulling freshly baked cookies. Now, the tables have turned and I am the one that get to do that for Annabelle.
This is a recipe Scott’s mom, we call her Mimi, has made for years and now we get to make them in our homes too! Originally the recipe was given to to Scott’s grandma, Grams, by a neighbor. Mimi would enjoy these as a little girl, so it’s only right to continue making this recipe for all the kids in the family.

Last week, my sister-in-law and I were talking about how baking and food can be so therapeutic. She is a nutritional therapist and has helped me better understand the importance of food and how they benefit out bodies. Baking and cooking with real food is so important to me and something that I absolutely love! The way food tastes is better than ever and will make it a memorable food, you’ll want to make again and again. Also, I love baking and enjoying what I bake. It makes me so happy to taste such delicious food and to see others enjoy too.
Mimi’s Snickerdoodle Cookies are the perfect cookie to make to welcome kids home from school or friends over for a fun game night. Take the time to make these tasty homemade cookies and you’ll be looking forward to your kitchen therapy, just as much as me!
