BOO a Neighbor
It’s that time of year to grab some of your favorite treats to leave a fun surprise and BOO a neighbor or two. I grew up with this fun tradition in our neighborhood and I absolutely love that we get to carry it on with my family now. This is such a fun way to spread some Halloween cheer in your neighborhood, and I think we can all enjoy that now a days.
Gather all the family together for this fun activity, because this is something everyone can help with. For those of you with younger kids, let them be a part of putting the basket together and those with older kids let them be the ones that go and BOO your neighbor. Trust me, your older kids will have a blast doorbell ditching some of their friends and leaving them a fun surprise to find when they open the door.
BOO a Neighbor Supplies:
- “You’ve Been Booed” Printables (FREE download below)
- Bucket, Bag or Basket to put the goodies in

- Halloween stickers
- Glow in the dark things

I always love shopping the Dollar Spot at Target or Walmart, The Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, Michaels and stores like that. This can be as simple as you want it to be or as fun filled as you want it to be, it’s the thought that counts.
What you drop off is completely up to you. You can even make a plate of cookies and drop them off with the printables, it can be as easy as that.

Get your bucket ready to go and then it’s time to go and drop off the surprise to your neighbor. Sneak up to the door, leave the bucket on the doorstep, ring the doorbell and RUN as fast as you can!
The next day or two keep an eye out and watch for when then put out their “We’ve Been BOOED” sign. Before you know it, they’ll be popping up all over the neighborhood.
