It’s summer time and I’ve been making more essential oil DIYs that I’m loving. I never thought I would be using this many essential oil DIYs, but here I am using them every day now.
Although essential oils may seem a bit overwhelming, you can just start with a few and get comfortable with that before diving in with even more. I have been using essential oils for almost 2 years and I am still learning how to use essential oils more in my life.
Here are a few things that I think you’d enjoy using this summer:
For better hair growth, shine and strength use lavender, cedarwood and rosemary. Lavender is good for dandruff and adds shine to your hair. Cedarwood supports hair strength and rosemary helps unclog scalp pores and balances hair oils. The witch hazel tames the frizz, thank goodness!
Are you wanting that beautiful summer skin that glows? This essential oil moisturizer is the prefect combination to keep your face beautifully moisturized and glowing all summer long.
In a 1 oz. dropper bottle add 20 drops frankincense (promotes healthy-looking skin, reduces blemishes, prevents wrinkles, and helps lift + tighten skin) and 20 drops valor (enhances the appearance of healthy-looking skin and inspires confidence + courage). Finish by filling the remainder of the bottle with jojoba oil. Apply to face after washing in the morning and/or evening.
Summertime Room Spray
I love having a good diffuser blend going, but sometimes it’s nice to have an easy room spray on hand to get your home instantly smelling like summer.
In a 15 oz. spray bottle, add 10 drops orange + 10 drops stress away + 5 drops peppermint + 5 drops lavender, then top with distilled water.
Mist around your home for a wonderful summery and beachy vibe!
